As a happy owner of an SD400, I moved onto this one as an upgrade and I have not been disappointed. The functions of this one are even better than previous models. Read More Rating: - Can't see screen when it's sunny When I ordered this camera, I didn't realized it didn't have an optical viewfinder. The upshot is that it has a wonderful, large LCD screen that is perfect--unless it is sunny out, in which case the screen is totally washed out and you are left shooting blindly and hoping for the best. It does take great pictures, but the lack of viewfinder is a major flaw if you ever want to take photos on a bright day. Rating: - Great Pocket Camera I used this camera in Mexico for a week and it was fantastic both indoors and out. It also took great sunset shots. Rating: - Decent Point and Shoot I usually shoot with Nikon SLRs, but purchased this mainly as an underwater camera (with the underwater case). Impressed with the quality for a point and shoot, and now also use this when I don't want to lug my equipment around. The mpg function is also nice to have.
